Humankinds first extraterrestrial contact was bittersweet. The Vell civilization had fallen ten thousand years before human spacecraft appeared in the red stained skies of the somber planet. Within the crystal cities and violet forests of the Vell home-world silence reigned. A small community of scientists and technicians made the planet their new home. In the decades that followed they struggled to uncover the story of the Vell. Progress was slow. After several generations only the basic elements of Vell language, technology and art had been grasped. One revelation of the researchers efforts was the discovery of a test, or perhaps a variety of game that had been used to train the reflexes and memory of the Vell young. The researchers made a rough translation of the title. The Vell called their game...FISSION.

This a game of coordination and memory. Drag the black circles to envelope and eliminate the coloured balls but beware; though the black circles are identical each one eliminates only one variety of coloured ball. Touching a triangle whilst dragging a black circle will spawn more of the coloured balls corresponding to that circle. A faintly superimposed timer on the screen allows the player to see how much time has been allocated to complete the level. Eliminating the coloured balls one variety at a time may not be the best strategy as the gravity is constantly varying and a particular colour may be barricaded behind other colours or triangles.
